IMTOY Zoo Whale-motif vibrator review

I was recently contacted by IMTOY about their affiliate scheme, and I asked whether I’d be able to review one of their products before signing up. They agreed, so I now own their Zoo Collection Whale vibrator. This little cutie is a peach pastel love-egg style vibe with a long external arm that rests against your clitoris.

The IMTOY Zoo Whale comes in a nice little sturdy box with pull-out drawer. The cartoon blue whale picture on the front of the box makes it a discreet-ish package, though the schematic diagram on the side and the description ‘whale-motif vibrator’ give the game away! Inside the box are the instruction manual, the whale and its USB charging lead (with magnetic contact pins). The Whale comes with a Bluetooth controlled app, that can either be obtained via scanning the QR code on the box, or downloaded at www.IMTOY.com on your mobile.

Once the app is downloaded, you have the option of 16 vibration modes, or you can draw your own pattern, which is a great idea! I loved getting creative with this feature, as my cheeky pic below will show! Charging the IMTOY Zoo Whale takes about 5 hours; during charging, the light will flash. It remains illuminated when fully powered. You can use water-based lubricant with the whale. Avoid other lubes or oils to prevent damage to the silicone.

Have a whale of a time

The vibrations can be either switched on manually by pressing and holding the power button. Alternatively, you can use the App on your phone (requires iOs or Android). The Bluetooth connectivity is limited. I found I needed to be in the same room as my phone and sometimes the connection just dropped, even when my phone was in-hand. This was a bit frustrating.

As for the patterns, there are 16. That’s a lot of choice. The first three are incremental continuous vibrations. Then there is a fast pulsing pattern, followed by a ‘machine gun’ style one. Then a higher frequency one. After that I got a bit bored of describing them all. I think they get a bit same-y in my opinion. And I said it before, I am not a fan of patterns on the whole. The vibrations of the IMTOY Zoo Whale are a bit buzzy, so power queens may find it a bit lacking in oomph. It fits nicely inside my vagina and the silicone is very soft with no drag or ridges. This makes for easy cleaning.

Another feature that the whale has, is that it can be paired to music to vibrate to it. That’s a pretty cool selling point. You could wear it in the gym, and pair it to your work-out music! Hence working your Kegels whilst you tone up your limbs! A great feature for those busy people who like to multi-task. I cannot really comment on this functionality, as I’ve not installed iTunes on my phone.

On the whole, I think the IMTOY Zoo Whale is a great option for those looking for a love-egg style vibrator. It is not remote controlled like the Adrien Lastic Smart Dream egg, however, I feel the Bluetooth connectivity is a good alternative. The Whale certainly gives some great stimulation and paired with another vibrator on my clitoris, I can achieve orgasm.

  1. Great review!

Personally, I’ve had a different experience with the rhino, their rabbit vibe. I found the vibrations to be on the rumbly side, and the app worked very well and I never had any connection issue with it.

It’s nice to see a different experience. I’ve been recommending the brand assuming that the whole zoo collection would be just as good.
