Satisfyer Pro 2 Reviewed

A Satisfying range of toys

I’d read comparisons between the Womanizer toys and the offerings from Satisfyer. It seemed to me that the decision to purchase a Satisfyer Pro 2 was a clear no-brainer, given the ratings of its orgasmic capability. Moreover it’s a satisfyingly lot cheaper! I’ll confess, I had no idea that Satisfyer had the range of clitoral stimulators that they do. Then Little Switch Bitch told me she had all 5 of them; yes, there are that many! For those, like me who did not realise, here is a quick lesson on the different models, courtesy of Satisfyer’s website.

  • Satisyer 1 is a battery-powered, pressure wave vibrator with a single push button.
  • Satisfyer 2 takes the model a step further with a +/- button (much better for cycling between the 11 ‘intensive’ programs!)
  • Satisfyer Pro Deluxe is magnetically USB rechargeable, and is an oval design.
  • Satisyer Pro 2 reverts back to the longer handled slim-line design, whilst maintaining the rechargeable element. The head sits at right angles to the handle.
  • Satisfyer Pro Penguin is also USB rechargeable, via the magnetic contacts. It has a curved head, and the clitoral silicone ‘suction cup’ appears slightly wider in aperture than that on the Pro 2. The colour is ridiculously pink too! It has been awarded an iF Design Award 2017…ooh!
Bunny gets some satisfaction

Onto the Pro 2 review; as a lady who enjoys clitoral stimulation, I was keen to see what Satisfyer’s touch-free pressure wave technology would bring to Bunny’s toy stash. More importantly, would it leave me satisfied? Before it could be used, it required a charge courtesy of its funky magnetic USB cable. During charging, the red LED light (sited on the back of the handle, between the two buttons) flashes. Once fully-charged, this LED will remain illuminated.

The round button turns the Satisfyer on and off, whilst the larger oval button goes through the 11 intensity settings. Once you get to the highest level, continuing to press this button reverses through the intensities. Though the box describes it as having a whisper mode, I don’t think it can actually get away with this claim. Even at the lowest setting there is a discernible chug, akin to an inflatable mattress pump.

In use, I find that adding lubricant (water-based of course), around the silicone suction cup helps create a good seal around my clitoris, allowing me to feel the full benefit of those pressure waves. I like the intensity at about 7-8 out of the 11 settings to get me going on that orgasm-seeking path. Anything below that is not going to get things going anytime soon. The sensations are similar to someone sucking on your clitoris, which is pleasant but I would find it incredibly difficult to orgasm from that alone. To increase the intensity, (in addition to ramping up the pressure waves to full-blast) I find massaging over my pubic bone really helps. By doing this, I can orgasm in about 5-10 minutes. These climaxes are less intense than the ones I would get from a dual action vibrator such as a rabbit, but they are nonetheless enjoyable.

Testing in the bath

As the Satisfyer is waterproof, I decided to test in the bath. Did this make achieving orgasm any easier? Maybe to a degree it did, since the water will help with sealing the silicone head around the clitoris. But I think its safe to say the jury is still out on that verdict. Considering the reasonable price tag of this toy, (£65.99 RRP), I would expect maybe one or two extras in the box, like a storage pouch and a spare silicone head. I have no idea of the life-time expectancy of the head, and I suppose ultimately it depends upon how often the Satisfyer is used, as well as how well you look after it. I would expect at least 6 months though, all being well that I don’t lose the thing!

What more can I say about the Satisfyer? It looks a bit like an ear thermometer (as others before me have pointed out), and apart from the name etched into the casing on the front of the handle, it does not scream out that it is a sex toy. How do I rate it?

  • orgasm rating = 7.5/10,
  • appearance      = 9/10,
  • usability            = 10/10
  • value                   = 8.5/10
  • overall                = 9/10

Bottom line, it left me feeling satisfied, the way a decent brew will on a cold wintery day!
