I was asked if I’d like to try the So Divine Bootylicious Butt Plug in exchange for an honest review. The Bootylicious Butt Plug is the larger-sized sibling to the Sweet Sensation plug. Its design and silicone body are essentially the same as the smaller predecessor. The packaging is pretty much identical also, consisting of the white and purple box. The So Divine Bootylicious Butt Plug is shown on the front of the box. A clear window on the back shows the actual plug inside the box. A schematic diagram of three little butt plugs highlights the Bootylicious Butt Plug as the ‘middle-weight contender.’
Inside the box, the plug sits in a foam insert within a pull-out tray. The plug has a clear faux crystal in its base, and there are two other crystals in the box. One is purple, whilst the other is yellow. The crystals do have a rough ‘tag’ on the circumference. I suspect these are from cutting the crystals out of their moulds.
Under the plug, there is a purple velvet drawstring pouch. The plug itself measures 3.3 inches long and the circular base is 1.5 inches wide. The widest part of the bulb has a circumference of 4.5 inches, and the insertable length is 2.1 inches.
Feeling Bootylicious
To use the So Divine Bootylicious Butt Plug, I find I need to be relaxed and ideally to have had an orgasm prior to inserting. The plug needs copious water-based lubricant, since it is silicone so has greater resistance than glass or metal. The silicone is also relatively firm. The shape of the plug is squat and compact. Once inserted, the plug feels comfortable to wear, though I only wore it for about 2 hours at most in any one time. I like the fact the crystal is changeable and that you can wash the crystals separately to remove any ‘gunk.’
Cleaning the So Divine Bootylicious Butt Plug is easy. Just clean with antibacterial soap / sex-toy cleaner and water. You can also sterilise by boiling the plug for 5-10 minutes. The Bootylicious plug retails for £16.99 from Harmony.
As a plug for an intermediate anal toy user, I’d say the Bootylicious Booty Plug is a perfectly suitable contender. If you like a bit of ‘bling,’ ease of maintenance and (reasonably firm) silicone, then it will work for you. Conversely, if you like larger/ longer anal toys, temperature play and the ability to use silicone-based or hybrid lubricants, then it perhaps will not be the right plug for you.
I’d like to thank So Divine for allowing me to test the Bootylicious Booty plug in exchange for my honest opinion. Affiliate links are included in this post. If you use them, I will earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thank you, xx
