I recently purchased the Classified Miss Alice costume from Lovehoney, as I wanted to add to my collection of role play lingerie. What better choice than the namesake of this very blog? 😉 The outfit featured in a Sinful Sunday picture I posted a while ago, and it captured some admiration.
Packaging and appearance of the Miss Alice costume
The Miss Alice costume arrived in a plastic case, which is useful for storing the costume if you don’t wish to hang it. There is a picture of the model wearing the dress and stockings on the image.
I ordered the large size, which is a UK 16-18 apparently. With retrospect I probably ought to have got the medium. As a whole, the costume works really well together. If you would like the fuller skirt, as in the picture on the Lovehoney website, you’ll need to buy the petticoat separately.
The dress looks really cute, and is well-stitched, with a zip opening on the back. I love the bows on the opaque white stockings. They match the one on the front of the dress to a tee. I do feel the fit would have been slightly better for someone with longer legs than mine (I’m 5’3″). The headband is cute and complements the dress well. It feels comfortable enough to wear.
This outfit is not so raunchy that it is only limited to the bedroom. I would be happy to wear it to a fancy dress party. I’d go so far as to say the Miss Alice costume would even be suitable around minors, for a World Book Day event or such-like. Another feature is that this costume is machine-washable.

Sadly this outfit is no longer available to buy from Lovehoney, though they do offer this cute French Maid Apron, from Dreamgirl for £36.99 that could be worn over a light blue skirt or dress.
