I really like the Goo Goo Dolls music. From when I first heard Iris, I loved Jonny Rzenik’s vocals. I got to see them live in 2006, I think it was, in London. It’s been years since I saw live music, and I miss it.

Music is a tonic for the soul, and as I write this, I’m listening to songs from Hairspray, which I watched twice over the past weekend when it was on the Show Must Go On YouTube from Andrew Lloyd Webber.

I just love the soul music era- it’s so upbeat, despite the struggles that African Americans were going through on a daily basis. I listened to The Four Tops in the car as a kid, as my parents loved their songs. Going Loco Down in Acapulco became the theme song to our family outings in my dad’s XR3i. I’m such an 80’s child 😉

I really digress what I was writing about at the start of this post, which is to say how I enjoy listening to The Goo Goo Dolls. This track, Better Days, sums up how I’m feeling right now.
