I’m writing this and listening to Jamiroquai’s Summer Girl. I haven’t listened to Jay Kay and his funky crew in far too long, and it’s always feel-good music to feed my happiness receptors.

I feel properly holiday-ish despite being home because I’ve got an iced coffee and my patio doors are wide open. On days like today, social distancing isn’t quite so bad.
The only bad thing about summer (aside from grass pollen) is that I eat all the naughty foods. BBQs, meat, ice cream and other desserts…not so good for a summer body, though I hopefully burn it off again when the autumn chill arrives. Besides, a little extra flesh won’t hurt 😉
We’re all spending a lot of extra time at home, right now. Here are some thoughts on what I call ‘home.’
