I recently contacted Lovehoney to see what lingerie ranges they had available for review. They suggested the Passion Flower babydoll set in red lace, so I snapped it up quicker than Audrey 2 could say “Feed Me, Seymour!”
The colours really pop in the pictures that Lovehoney displays on their site. After a dull few months, I was glad to welcome something so vibrant into my lingerie collection. I received the set in the one-size (UK 8-16) option.
I’m usually a size 12 and stand at 5’3″ tall. The babydoll fit me well without requiring any adjustment of the straps. I really like the v-neckline with criss-cross straps that give support while looking flattering. I have some moles that I am not too keen on revealing. Luckily the floral lace bust detailing disguises these for me.
The lace detailing is comprised of 51% polyamide, 17% Polyester, 12% Rayon, 12% viscose and 8% elastane. By comparison, the mesh is 92% polyamide and 8% elastane. Lovehoney advises hand-washing the Passion Flower babydoll set with cool water.
I like the cut of the knickers as they show off my bum without any unsightly bumps under the mesh of the babydoll. The hem of the babydoll skims the tops of my thighs at the front and covers my butt at the rear.
As of March 2022, the Passion Flower babydoll set is no longer available from Lovehoney, which is a shame as it’s so gorgeous. 🙁
If I hadn’t have received this set from Lovehoney to review I’d definitely buy it as it feels luxurious and the colours are striking, even on my pale skin!
