July SoSS – Reviews to make you Blush!

It’s been a little while since I posted a #SoSS round-up. Now is as good a time as any, so I will share with you what caught my eye in the blogosphere. Namely some reviews of products from Blush Novelties. Their toys look so colourful, and are body-safe whilst being reasonably priced.

Blush Novelties celebrates Pride

There is a fab review of the Blush Novelties Avant Pride P5 Fluid silicone butt plug from Felicity at Phallophile Reviews. This butt plug not only looks quirky, but it is great for being inclusive of various sexual identities. The shape is friendly enough for butt-plug beginners, as it is tapered, and the silicone is squishy. The main disadvantage of this plug, however, is the boxy base, with the short stem. This is something I’ve encountered myself with similarly-designed plugs. Nonetheless, should you want an attractive, gender-fluid plug that you can wear for a relatively short time, the Avant Pride P5 Fluid Silicone Butt plug may be just what you’re after!

Amber Mallery (alternatively known as Gay on Tuesdays) wrote a review of the Blush Novelties Avant Pride P2 Dildo, from PeepShow Toys. I’ve not tried anything from Blush Novelties myself. But I’m impressed to read in Amber’s review that their dildos are individually handcrafted. Plus, they have serial numbers on their boxes so you can be assured you are not getting a counterfeit dildo. I previously co-wrote an article with Amber here, and she is such an enthusiastic advocate for safe sex, as well as body-safe toys. I’m delighted she is getting on so well with her blog, and it really does make for entertaining reading. 🙂

Blush Novelties go Eco-friendly

We all know the damage occurring to the planet’s ocean wildlife by tonnes of plastic ending up there. You’d have to be living in a cave not to know how urgently we need to all do our bit to minimise the threat. So I was interested to read about another product from Blush Novelties, the Gaia Eco Biodegradeable Vibrator. Aurora Glory reviewed it, and though it has its cons (it runs on batteries, which seems counter-intuitive for an Eco-friendly vibrator), and it does not have loads of power, she does find plenty of positives to outweigh these. Not only is it eco-friendly and body-safe, but it is wallet-friendly too. And the vibrations are reasonably rumbly to boot! Not only can you feel good about getting yourself off, you can also do your bit to save the planet 🙂

Once again, I keep this short and sweet. But if you love these reviews as much as I do, show these awesome bloggers some comment love <3

Until next time, keep enjoying the toys folks!
