Saturday 6 January 2018
It’s the first Saturday in January 2018. I am excited to be typing up my first blog post on a new laptop. Do I look excited? Probably not. That’s because I’m sat in my spare room with grey light peering in through a North-facing window. It’s bleugh for want of a better word. The pretty frost has thawed too.
But, if I look into a different window, the one on my screen I see much more promising stuff. Cousin Pons shares with us a cheeky glimpse of his blue socks framing his manhood in his most recent Sinful Sunday post. I like the ‘burnt edge’ border too.
A review I am keen to share this week is the Satisfyer Pro 2 (original model not the Next Generation) from Zoë at Sex Is My New Hobby. The reason why, is because she has worked out what stimulation she requires from her toys and the Pro 2 simply does not deliver it for her. It emphasises that no two people with clitorises will respond the same to pressure-wave technology.
I applaud her honesty, and it’s important for sex bloggers to be up-front about what they like or dislike about a product. That way, the company manufacturing said product can take a new approach (if necessary). Alternatively, they can refine the technology if it works for the majority. Either way, improvements can be made. For people who feel the same way as Zoë, they don’t need to feel alone that a product does not work for them.
My last snippet for sharing this week, is a short story from Livvy Libertine. I like yoga. I’m no marathon runner. I don’t even run for a bus (not that I take the bus on a regular basis). But as I read this story, I felt my pulse quicken at the description of the sexual encounter between Liza and Beth. Never have I ever had a same-sex encounter. But this story makes me wonder if I’d like one. I think I would. In any case, on a cold January morning, it made me feel a lot warmer picturing the scene!
I keep these posts short and sweet, because I could spend hours looking at other bloggers’ work. My aim is to find something different each week to talk about. Until next week, keep on Sharing our Shit!
I enjoyed your SoSS so much. I like your style and layout. I really must write one myself soon but I am feeling so snowed under at times, but that’s no excuse. And thanks so much for mentioning my Sinful Sunday photo. I was a bit nervous about posting it but have been cheered by the compliments I have received.
CP xx
Thank you Cousin Pons for your kind words 😀
It is hard to write for #SoSS every week sometimes due to other commitments but I am endeavouring to at least try a small round- up.
I’m sure people will love to see you take part whenever you are able to. This community is a friendly one 😊
I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was good. I don’t know who you are but definitely you are going to a famous blogger if you are not already 😉 Cheers!
Ha-ha, I’m not sure about being famous, but I’m glad you enjoyed the post! 🙂
