Hey folks, I have been quiet on the blogosphere, as I started my new full-time job 4 weeks ago, which has been a hectic whirlwind of learning.
Following my redundancy, I had a few months off work, which gave me time to spend Easter with my family. Luckily, I had an interview that went well, and I was offered the job, yay! Fortunately so really. None of my other interviews or applications had proved fruitful. Alas, I was happy with my offer, and I only needed one job!
What am I doing now, I hear you ask? It is a scientific role, that is very close by. I get to do quality checks on the work done by the scientists. Essentially, I am checking their paperwork and all the potions that they’ve made in the lab. I actually feel like I am doing something worthwhile now. It will help ensure that patients on various medications can feel safer that their pharmaceuticals are being rigorously tested.
All in all, I feel like despite the stress of the uncertainty following being made redundant, I have moved into what I hope will be a decent career for me. Moreover, I work with nice people and there’s plenty of banter in my group. I also get better pay and benefits, so I am much happier now.
Despite my quietness on here, I have got a product in for testing, which is a toy for people with a penis. I won’t be reaping the benefits of the testing, but I’m hoping it proves fun for Mr Bunny. Then help us have some more fun together! Watch this space…
I’ll keep this short and sweet, but the bunny still lurks in the blog shadows. Funnily enough, I’ve recently had a few requests to try out new products. I’ve had to say I’m not able to at present, due to other commitments, but I’m hopeful that I can test again in the not-too-distant future.
