I recently chatted to one of the affiliate team members at Lovehoney to discuss reviewing a product for them. It has been a while since I have a). done any reviews. b). reviewed for Lovehoney. What better than to get back into testing, than trying out their Mantric G-Spot Rabbit Vibrator?
When I received my package, in the usual discreet brown box, I was a bit surprised by the size. It seemed a pretty small box for a rabbit. Especially since I own the Desire Rabbit, also from Lovehoney, which is probably twice the size of the Mantric.*
Not one to be put off by first impressions alone, I took the Mantric G-Spot Rabbit Vibrator out of its understated brown box. This was sealed with a label for security, and I found the Mantric inside a polythene bag, nestled among some foam packaging. There was also a charging USB cable, in a separate bag, and a small folded leaflet.
Charging the Mantric G-Spot Rabbit
As usual, before use, the advice is to fully charge the Mantric G-Spot Rabbit Vibrator, though it does arrive with some power. The socket for the USB jack is on the rear of the rabbit at its base. There is a small hole in the silicone body that has the DC symbol above it. Pushing the jack into the hole is easy enough.
A full charge takes about 160 minutes and provides about an hour of playtime. There are LED lights in ABS plastic around the base of the toy. It reminds me of one of those colour-changing fibre-optic lamps. A toy with its own mood lighting- quirky.
The Mantric G-Spot Rabbit has its power button on the front of the toy, at the base. It is quite small. The power button switches the Mantric G-Spot Rabbit on, into a ‘standby’ mode. The LED lights start to change colour. Pressing the button another time turns the vibrations on, and repeatedly pressing goes through the settings. There are 10 settings, which are colour-coded:
- White – Slow vibrations.
- Green – Medium.
- Blue – Fast.
- Purple – Pulse.
- Pink -Fast pulse.
- White flash – Pulse/ wave.
- Green flash – Slow wave.
- Blue flash – Fast wave.
- Purple flash – Pulse/constant.
- Pink flash – Ripple.
The Mantric G-Spot Rabbit in use
I like the feel of the Mantric Rabbit’s soft silicone, which is seam-free. There is a dark line along the centre of the shaft’s head, but it’s merely visible rather than having a texture. The ears are nice and long, so they provide decent stimulation around my clitoris and labia.
Due to the shaft being short as well as curved, and with its bulbous tip, this rabbit does what it says it will; it hits my G-spot. I’ve tried it lying on my back, which felt good and brought me to orgasm within about 20 minutes. Another time I inserted the Mantric G-Spot Rabbit while standing and slightly bent forward. The sensations provided in this position were stronger on my G-spot, probably due to shortening my vaginal canal a bit, and increasing the pressure on my G-spot.
Final thoughts
The Mantric may be smaller than the Desire, as well as other rabbit vibrators I have tried. It definitely delivers. If you enjoy G-spot play, and/or blended orgasms, you will probably really like this rabbit. I say probably, as I cannot make any guarantees.
I will admit I’m not a fan of all the pattern settings. Also, I think the power button is a bit small. It would be better if there were up and down controls to cycle through the settings. But I do like the lights, and definitely enjoy the sensations. 🙂

* I compared the dimensions of the Desire Rabbit with the Mantric, directly from Lovehoney’s pages. They both have a circumference of 4.5 inches. Desire has a total length of 10 inches (insertable length 5 inches). Mantric has a total length of 7.5 inches (insertable length of 4.5 inches). The Desire is made of firmer silicone than the Mantric. I think it is the added flexibility of the Mantric that makes it so good at targeting the G-Spot. In the future, I may do a comparison blog post… 😉
