Earlier in the year I heard from Sally at Satisfyer, as she wanted to tell me about some new products the company were launching. I checked out their website and saw a whole host of new vibrators, which made me wonder what they would send to me. I did not make any requests for any particular products. That was probably a mistake on my part, as it means I have not made a decision based on what I think I will like.
When I received my package from Satisfyer I was bemused to find two very similar looking partner vibrators. They’d sent me the Partner Multifun 1 and the Multifun 2. Looking at the pictures on the box alone I figured, why bother testing the Multifun 1, when for all intents and purposes it looks pretty much identical to the Multifun 2. The main differences are the colour (1 is blue; 2 is pink) and the shape of the ‘arms.’
The packaging for the two vibrators is also the same, save for the colour scheme and images of the products. It’s like a sex toy ‘spot the differences’, except I cannot see more than about 3. Moving on, the packages are sealed with a hygiene label, so that’s reassuring at least, that you’ll have a fresh toy. There are ‘more than 14 ways to enjoy’ the Satisfyer Partner Multifun 2 according to the box. Maybe I’m lacking in imagination, but the little drawings on the back of the box only show 13 ways.
Charging and operation of the Multifun 2
To charge the Multifun 2, simply connect the magnetic pins of the cable to the contacts on the base of the vibrator and plug into a USB adaptor. Charging takes about 2 hours, and an LED will flash between the two buttons on the front. When the LED stays illuminated, the Multifun 2 is fully powered. Button one (.) operates the motor in the base, and the arms are switched on via button 2 (..)
Each motor has 3 continuous speed settings in increasing intensities, followed by 7 pattern functions. Just press and hold the buttons to switch on, then keep pressing to cycle through the settings. I will say the vibrations are very buzzy. They tickle my nose when I hold the tips of the arms against the end of my nose. The silicone is very smooth, so that’s a plus point.
When I used the Multifun 2 for solo play, I tried it on my nipples first. They became slightly erect, but that was it. Meh. As a Clitoral vibrator, the stimulation was weak. Woefully so. Mr Bunny tried it as a cock ring. His response was similarly lacklustre. During Penis-in-Vagina sex neither of us really felt like the Multifun 2 added any more fun than what we’d have had on our own.
Basically, as a sex toy it really does not do a lot for us. I think Satisfyer have great suction products, but if the Multifun 2 is anything to go by, they have a lot to learn where vibrations are concerned. I would say, save your money and buy a more powerful cock ring, if you want to use it as a couples toy.
Cleaning and storage of the Multifun 2
You can wash the Multifun 2 with an antibacterial cleaner and water, leave it to air dry and store it inside a clean, dry pouch. Avoid storing it with other toys according to Satisfyer’s leaflet.
The Satisfyer Partner Multifun 2 was offered to me by Satisfyer in exchange for my honest opinion. What you read here are my own thoughts.
