I recently received a haul of new vibrators from Sally at Satisfyer. There are two rabbit vibrators included (one of which is the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny). In addition, is a clitoral vibrator styled like the Fun Factory Volta. There are also a couple of G-spot vibrators and a ridged vibrator.
The Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny is the first toy I have tried from this new range of vibrators. Satisfyer incorporates vibrations into a couple of their suction toys, including the Pro G-spot rabbit and the Pro Vibration.
Satisfyer’s Vibes range is all about vibrations. There is no suction involved. Having tried the Multifun 2 recently, I was disappointed in its weak buzzy vibrations. causing me to wonder if the “Vibes” toys would be similarly weak. Carry on reading to see if the Magic Bunny does indeed create magic!
First impressions of the Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny
The Magic Bunny comes in a pale blue cardboard box with a full size photograph of the vibrator on the rear of the box. The scale (1:1) and dimensions in both metric and imperial are stated on the box. From the base of the handle to the tip of the shaft, the length measures 7 inches. The handle is a curved loop consisting of white ABS plastic on the front and purple silicone on the back. The shaft and clitoral arm are both silky soft silicone, with no seams.
Magnetic contacts for the USB charging cable are on the base of the handle. Above these sit the silicone operational buttons. The bottom button changes the program. There are twelve program settings. In the middle of the three buttons is the Power switch. The top button alternates between the intensity level. There are two powerful motors in the Magic Bunny; one in the shaft and one in the clitoral arm. The Satisfyer Vibes Magic Bunny is IPX7 rated, so it is waterproof, and can be submerged. The shaft has Silicone Flex Technology, allowing it to bend forward and back to move with your body.
Charging and using the Magic Bunny
The magnetic contacts hold the pins of the charging cable securely. The USB end plugs into a wall adapter or laptop. The instruction leaflet states that the initial charge takes 3.5 hours. I found my Magic Bunny charged in about 2 hours. Whilst charging, the white LED light behind the buttons flash. It stays illuminated once the Magic Bunny is fully charged.
Pressing the power button for 2 seconds switches the Magic Bunny on. The vibrations do feel deep and strong. I thought the shaft may be too short to feel very *ahem* satisfying. It measures at 3.5 inches from the base to the tip.
The first time I put the Magic Bunny to the test, I felt that on the continuous vibration settings (patterns really do not work for me, though they may appeal to others), there was reasonable power in both the shaft and the clitoral arm. Vibrations were rumbly as opposed to buzzy and I was able to achieve orgasm within about 20 minutes.
Internally, the shaft went deep enough to provide some g spot stimulation, whilst the clitoral arm made good contact over my vulva, massaging my labia and clitoris.
But sadly the second time I attempted to use the Magic Bunny, I was half-way through working my way to climax when I happened to press one of the buttons to change the intensity. All of a sudden, the powerful rumbles were reduced to a weak buzz, which felt like it was only coming from the clitoral arm. I plugged the Magic Bunny into the power outlet, to see if it was an issue with lack of charge. Once fully juiced, I switched the Magic Bunny on and found to my dismay that the vibrations were still the pitiful weak ones in the clitoral arm only.
Based on the first test, I would give the Magic Bunny 4 stars out of 5. The loss of the star would be on account of its handle having a slightly rough plastic edge that isn’t quite flush with the silicone back.
Testing halted…
Because I have not been able to properly test the Magic Bunny, I have contacted Satisfyer via Twitter and asked them whether they wish for me to send the vibe back to them. I am awaiting an answer. I will update this post as and when I hear back from Satisfyer.
